How do I sell my kid's items with JBF?
  1. To get started, become a seller & sign up for our upcoming Northwest Houston sale event!
  2. You'll collect, inspect, price, & tag your items using our consignor tagging guide
  3. Next, you'll organize & prepare your items for drop off right before our shopping days begin. 
  4. We'll take over and run the sale, bringing in thousands of shoppers while you watch your sales grow in real time!
  5. After the sale ends, you can pickup your unsold items or donate to our charity partner, Lovie's Pearls
  6. We'll then email your consignor payment 10-14 days after the sale concludes!
How much do I earn from selling with JBF?

Sellers will earn 60% of their gross sales. There are several ways to earn 70% up to 100% of your sales by participating in seller contests leading up to sale week! Join our FB Consignor Group for more info! 

What items can I sell?

We accept new & gently-used items for infants to juniors such as clothing, shoes, books, toys, essentials, sports gear, outdoor toys, kids/nursery decor & furniture, & more! We also including maternity & some postpartum items. We accept items based on our safety & quality standards as well as some category & seasonal limits. How do I price & tag my items?

We recommend pricing your items 1/3 of retail price. You can adjust based on condition of item but price them as if you were a shopper looking for an amazing deal that you would brag to your friends about! You can also view our JBF pricing guide in our Consignor Tagging Guide

Can I sell cribs or car seats?

Car Seats:

We accept new or gently-used car seats and boosters that have NEVER been in an accident, has all original and working pieces (including infant insert if initially sold with it), all manufacturer and warning labels fully attached and legible, is not expired AND will not expire a year from the date of the JBF sale event it will be sold at, has a completed safety waiver with car seat's user manual (or user manual link/qr code). Sellers must check car seats for any recalls or safety alerts using the link on our safety website. Car seats waivers must be completed at the time of drop off. Cribs:

We accept new or gently-used cribs manufactured on or after 06/28/2011 with all manufacturer and warning labels fully attached and legible, and must have printed and completed safety waiver at the time of drop off. Sellers must check for any recalls or safety alerts. View more safety information on our safety website. All gently-used cribs and convertible cribs must be fully assembled (as a crib) so our Safety & Recall Specialist can inspect and verify crib's condition & integrity.

Do you have a service that will tag my items for me?

No time to tag? No problem!! We have a group of pro-taggers that are local moms and sellers in our community that want to help busy families sell with JBF! Our Valet Taggers will price, prep, tag, store, transport, and place your items on our sales floor during drop off! Spots are limited so please sign up when your items are ready to be dropped off to your tagger. Once you sign up, our Valet Coordinator will match you with the closet tagger that is available. You will provide information about your items when you sign up so our taggers are prepared for each job assigned. When you tag items yourself, you will earn 60% of your sales but with our Valet Tagging, you will earn 30% of your sales minus any valet fees. See valet guide for full details!

When do I bring my items to the sale?

All sellers will schedule a drop off appointment to bring in their items before we open for shopping. Once you're at drop off, you'll check in and start bringing your items inside. Clothing will be inspected before allowed to be place on the rack so we recommend bringing those items in first. We'll have drop zones with team members around the sales floor to help speed up your drop off! You'll be given a lanyard with a floor map to help or you can always ask any of our team members! What happens to my items that don't sell?

When you enter in your tags, you have the choice to mark your items to be donated or not if items have not sold once sale week has ended. If you choose do donate all your unsold items, they will be donated to our charity partner, Lovies Pearls. If you choose not to donate and pickup unsold items, you will come to consignor pickup during your assigned time to pick up your items. View our drop off guide for pickup & donation info. What if I bring an item that is not accepted?

Sellers are responsible for inspecting items to ensure they follow our JBF Quality & Safety Standards. You will also find our Northwest Houston Item Limits, Seasonal Limits, & Items we cannot accept in our Consignor Tagging Guide. Items we cannot accept will be pulled off the sales floor as a "No Thank You" Item and returned to the seller if they are not marked "Donate". Sellers have a grace of 5 NTY items before being charged with a $0.25 NTY fee per item pulled. For questions, please reach out on our FB Group or email us at nwhouston@jbfsale.com

How do I get tagging supplies?

You can order tagging supplies online or at your local store. We purchase tagging supplies in bulk to offer to sellers at cost so you can save a little by only purchasing what you need. You can pickup your supplies at one of our meet ups or by porch pickup. To view pricing list and meet ups, view our tagging supply page. If you choose to use a tagging gun (optional) to attach your tags to clothing-you MUST WATCH our tagging gun demo first before using to ensure your items won't get damaged.

How can I earn more?

Sellers earn 60% of sold items. The easiest way you can earn the most is by following our Consignor Guide and pricing your items competitively to sell, packaging items neatly so they are easily visible by shoppers, and making sure you're bringing your best items in the best condition.

Share your Presale Shopping Passes-When you bring in 2 friends during consignor presale & half-price presale, your QR code will be scanned and entered into a drawing to upgrade your earnings from 60% to 100%.

Refer a Friend to Sell: When you refer a friend to sell with you at our upcoming event and they are brand new to JBF, we'll give you and your friend a bonus! 

When do sellers get to shop?

See schedule for dates & times! Don't forget to bring your 2 friends!

When do I get paid from my sales?

Sellers will receive their eCheck via email about 10-14 days after the sale has concluded. If you submitted a request for an item to be researched, your eCheck will be delayed an additional week. Checks are valid for 90 days after issued. After 90 days, checks will be void and a $35 re-issuing fee will be applied.
